Established in 1996 esprit set out to deliver quality interior fitting out solutions and to be the best in the industry. Since then the company has evolved and grown to suit the marketplace and the changing needs of our customers but still our philosophy remains the same.
THE COMPANY
The company began life as esprit Midland Limited and was soon securing shopfitting projects from clients such as A Levy & Son, Arcadia Group, Staples and HMV – the majority of whom are still working with esprit to this day. By 2001 the company had expanded to such a degree that it was necessary to move from its 4,000 sq ft premises to a bespoke 15,000 sq ft production and office facility.
Key to the further development of the company was the expansion of both the Commercial and Contracts departments in 2005, which led to the creation of a new division within the company, esprit UK Limited, designed to operate as a principal shopfitting contractor, alongside the existing manufacturing and transport facility, esprit Midland Limited. This allowed the company to further improve the service offered to its clients through greater efficiencies and increased capabilities.

esprit aims to provide complete solutions for its clients and make the whole process as simple and straightforward as possible for them. It does this not only through high manufacturing standards and its position of being a principal contractor on all of its projects, the offer of close partnerships and attention to detail and by consistently improving the service through investment in the latest shopfitting technology, including project monitoring software, and keeping abreast of the latest developments within the industry.
In the Summer of 2008 esprit UK and Midland Limited relocated to premises based in Spon Lane, West Bromwich. These premises provide extensive modern open plan offices designed and constructed with the efficiency and smooth running of operations within the business in mind. The workshops are located behind a central car park area and offer in excess of 2000 square metres of prestigious manufacturing and warehousing facilities and with recent investment of approximately £200K worth of new machinery including CNC, edge-banding machines etc.
Today the company is as responsive to change as ever, this with an increasing blue chip client portfolio. The ambition amongst the staff is to achieve the highest in industry standards, and are extremely close to realisation. Still maintaining the personal relationships with clients that have helped put the company where it is today.
